I’m Karen, the maker and creator behind Crochet & Crafts and I’m so happy you’re here. This blog is a space where I’ll be sharing the heart and soul behind my handmade creations from crochet gifts and clothes to hand-poured wax melts, and everything in between.
Whether you’re a fellow crafter or just browsing for something special, I hope this little corner brings you inspiration, warmth, and maybe even a smile.
🧶 A Little About Me
Crochet & Crafts originally started as Totally Tartz, then progressed to Handmade By Karen. This started as a passion project pre covid. I liked yankee wax melts, but they were getting so expensive. So I did lots of research and experimenting and started making my own wax melts and diffusers. I found it was a way to unwind, get creative, and share the joy of handmade things. Over time, it has grew into a small business filled with soft yarns, beautiful scents, and a whole lot of love. Not everything is in the shop yet, but slowly it will appear.
I work from my home studio in Cambridgeshire, where the kettle is always on and the wax melter is never far from bubbling away. Every item in the shop is made by hand, with care and attention to detail. Whether it’s a crochet top, a seasonal wax melt, or a custom order.
